My Me
Privacy
This page explains what happens when you leave your details through the My Me website.
What we collect
- your email address
- anything you choose to write in the optional “What made you curious about My Me?” field
- the date and time you submitted the form
- your consent choice
Why we collect it
To contact you occasionally about My Me’s development and, where relevant, opportunities to hear more or take part.
Legal basis
Consent.
How it is stored
At this stage of the website, submissions are not sent to any database, email provider or third-party service. When you submit the form, your details are kept only in your own browser’s local storage on the device you used. Nothing is transmitted to a server, no email automation is triggered and no analytics or marketing tools receive the information.
When My Me is ready to begin contacting people, this page will be updated to name the specific service that receives and stores submissions before any details leave your device.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until you unsubscribe, ask for deletion, or My Me decides it no longer needs an expression-of-interest list. The list is reviewed at least annually.
Who sees it
Ali Bailey and any service providers needed to operate the form and send agreed updates. Details are not sold or used for advertising.
Withdrawal and deletion
You can unsubscribe from any update, or email ali.bailey@my-me.co.uk to withdraw consent, access your information or ask for deletion.

Messages sent through the contact form
When you send a message through the website contact form we collect the email address you provide, any name you choose to give, the message text, the consent version, a submission timestamp, and a one-way hash of your IP address used only to limit abuse.
We use these details only to read and respond to your message. The legal basis is your consent in submitting the form, and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries.
Messages are stored in our Supabase database (hosted in the EU) and a notification copy is sent to Ali Bailey through Resend. Only Ali Bailey and essential service providers can access them. Messages are kept while a conversation is active and routinely reviewed; you can email Ali at any time to ask for your message to be deleted.
